DESIGN STATEMENT:

IHARVESTING HOPT
I
(turning the corner on hunger)

The tractor, an iconic vehicle indispensable to American farmers for over 100 years, remains a fitting symbol of hard
work and bountiful harvests. It is also a suitable emblem for MANNA FoodBank, an organization that seeks to sow the seeds of hope, plant the grains of generosity, and reap the rewards of a community united to end hunger. The wheels of the EARLY COLLEGE tractor are changing direction, and in a similar way, we hope to turn the corner on hunger in Buncombe County while HARVESTING HOPE for all.
